I’m in a Vipassana meditation retreat until 7th January and won’t have any access to technology. Queue is on :)Vipassana is one of India’s most ancient (non-sectarian) meditation techniques. The entire practice is actually a mental training; just as we use physical exercises to improve our bodily health, Vipassana can be used to develop a healthy mind. To see things as they really are, to focus on the deep interconnection between mind and body, and ultimately to have a balanced mind full of love and compassion.
The 10-day silent retreats are organised frequently and worldwide, they are completely donation based (ie free accommodation and food). Within that time, the essentials of the technique can be learned so that it can be applied in daily life. For more info see www.dhamma.org
